Oozarus are giant apes capable of leveling cities. Saiyans transform into Oozarus when they gaze at a full moon. They become very powerful but they also lose control and begin destroying everything. They will change back if the source of the moonlight disappears or if the tail of the Saiyan in Oozaru form is cut off.

Characters who have acheived: Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan

Saiyans acheive this state under extreme anger with the exception of Goten and Chibi Trunks. The Saiyan's muscles grow and their hair sticks up and changes to a golden color. This transformation doesn't take much out of them since Goku and Gohan have even slept as Super Saiyans.

Characters who have acheived: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Future Trunks, Chibi Trunks, and Goten.

This is a level of Super Saiyan that comes between levels 1 and 2. The Saiyan's muscles bulge up and their strength increases greatly. The main disadvantage is that due to the Saiyan's large increase in strength, they become very slow, making this stage very useless since you cannot catch your opponent to do the damage.

Characters who have acheived: Vegeta, Trunks, and Goku

This is a level of Super Saiyan with no disadvantages since the user gains increases in strength and speed and suffers little energy loss. Saiyans usually reach this level under extreme anger and only few have been able to acheive it. It can be identified by the Saiyans hair all sticking straight up except for one strand.

Characters who have acheived: Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta

This is another level of Super Saiyan acheived under extreme anger but the changes are even more obvious. The Saiyan's hair grows down to about their waist and their eyebrows disappear. This transformation takes a lot out of the user and they can only be in this state for a short amount of time.

Characters who have acheived: Goku and Gotenks

This transformation occurs in Dragonball GT and occurs when the Saiyan looks at the Earth from the planet Vegeta. This form is a more powerful form of the Oozaru and is identified by the golden fur on its body.

Characters who have acheived: Goku and Vegeta

This stage of Super Saiyan is reached once again by extreme anger and after the Saiyan is in Golden Oozaru form. Some people don't consider this a Super Saiyan level since Dragonball GT wasn't created by Akira Toriyama. This is also an odd looking one since the Saiyan's body is covered in red fur and their tail grows back. Also, their hair changes back to black.

Characters who have acheived: Goku, Vegeta, and Gogeta
