Probably the strongest human (even though he has 3 eyes) Z fighter, Tien will stand up to opponents that are even several times stronger than he even though he may not have much chance of winning. He used to be an assassin who's intention was to kill Master Roshi, but he moved over to the good side. He's usually seen with his training buddy Chaotzu and will usually bring him into battles up until the later episodes.

Has been a Z Fighter and a comrade of Goku's for quite some time, Krillin definately has incredible power for a human (notice I said for a human). However, Krillin is often times a coward when he is forced to face tough enemies. He was originally a monk that came to train under Master Roshi but eventually became part of much more. Since he was a monk, he is bald throughout most of the series up until the Buu Saga. He is married to Android 18 and has a daughter named Marron.

Used to be known as the "Desert Bandit". Yamcha has since joined Goku in his quest for the Dragonballs and has also become a part of the Z Fighters. He used to go out with Bulma but because of his excessive flirting with other girls, she dumped him for Vegeta and now he's alone. Yamcha's character is similar to Krillin's in the respect that he is also a complete coward only Yamcha has hair.

Also known as the "Turtle Hermit", Master Roshi has become a major pervert over the years. He has a vast collection of dirty magazines and is constantly hitting on young women, despite his old age. Aside from this though, Master Roshi is a seasoned warrior and was the one who trained Goku and Krillin and taught them the Kamehameha Wave. He's won the World Martial Arts Tournament under the name "Jackie Chun" and was very powerful at one point, but all of the Z Fighters have passed up his power majorly.

This weakling couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. Not only that, but he is a complete coward but has his way of making his fans believe that he is the world's greatest hero. He was credited with the defeat of Cell, even though Cell took him out with one punch and was even defeated by Chibi Trunks during an exhibition with (gasp) one punch. He believes that all Ki blasts and the ability to fly are all tricks and refuses to believe otherwise.

The daughter of Mr. Satan (Hercule), Videl also believed that the use of Ki was nothing but a "trick". However, after hanging around with Gohan, she learned to use this Ki in order to help her to fly. She is powerful for a human although she is not nearly as powerful as the other human Z Fighters and she is definately more powerful than her father. Videl eventually marries Gohan and together they protect the citizens of Satan City (Orange Star City).

Yajirobe is fat, slow, dumb, and did I say fat? He's a major coward that does nothing but eat and hack things with his sword. The only good he's ever done for the Z fighters is bring them Senzu Beans. Otherwise, he just takes the credit for other's hard work.

The mechanical genius of the series, Bulma creates many devices that have helped the Z Fighters throught the show. She cannot fight directly, but she certainly has the brains to figure a way out of a situation. Since her family is rich (they own Capsule Corp.) she is used to being pampered and in result is a complete snob. Bulma is with Vegeta (not sure if married) and has two children, Trunks and Bra.

Hands down, Chi-chi is one of the scariest, most powerful women in the world. You know that's true if Goku is even afraid of her. She may only have a limited fighting ability, but when she gets angry then you better get out of the way! Chi-chi is the wife of Goku and the mother of two, Gohan and Goten. She treats the two totally opposite, she makes Gohan study and she makes Goten fight. Who knows what goes on in her mind?
